Social Media Coordinator

FULL TIME | SALARY | ATLANTA & PART REMOTE | 1 OPENING

We are looking for a Social Media Coordinator to join our team! The perfect candidate for this role will be someone who is intuitive about visual and digital communication and has a passion for putting creative strategy into action. The ideal candidate must thoroughly understand how to effectively drive social media engagement and boost analytics while staying true to our brand. This person will manage strategy, content creation, and content scheduling. Our social media coordinator will be familiar with the video space and know how to move our brand through social media.

Responsibilities

  • Curate our social media content calendar; create a detailed plan with assets and pitch additional strategy and creative ideas to fill in the daily posting slots
  • Own all scheduling and posting of content across social media platforms
  • Interact regularly with the vidREACH community across all platforms
  • Create a growth plan for LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Tik Tok, Instagram, etc.
  • Ability to write social media copy that is engaging, on-brand, and platform-specific and record relevant videos
  • Monitor competitive activity and community platforms to identify trends and opportunities
  • Track success of social posts and contribute to overall brand strategy/content calendar

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a social media role
  • Knowledge and experience in the tenets of traditional marketing
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Advertising, Communications, English or technology-related
  • Creativity and immersion in social media, with in-depth knowledge and understanding of all social media platforms
  • Ability to work with a variety of partners and team members across different projects
  • Can recognize and capture content opportunities with their phone camera, you don't necessarily need a fancy camera team or anyone specifically telling you what you should capture
  • Intermediate photoshop skills
  • Curious self-starter with a growth mindset and a willingness to make the role your own. You stay up-to-date on social media trends in the competitive arena and share insights with enthusiasm
  • An eye for smart, and creative content with a pulse on how to build our brand on social platforms
  • Experience with content management systems a plus (Sprout Social, Hootsuite, etc.)
